At Belmonds Hotels Private Limited ("Belmonds", "we", "our", "us"), we strive to offer the highest level of customer satisfaction through our timeshare-based vacation ownership services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which payments made toward vacation memberships or related holiday services may be refunded.

1. Membership Purchase and Cooling-Off Period

  • Upon signing the vacation ownership agreement, members are granted a cooling-off period of 10 days (from the date of signing), during which they may request a full refund without any penalty or deduction.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to refunds@belmondshotels.in within this period.

  • No refund requests will be entertained after the cooling-off period has expired.

2. Refunds Post Cooling-Off Period

Once the cooling-off period has lapsed, no refund will be applicable on the vacation ownership membership amount, except in the case of valid reasons approved by Belmonds’ management, such as:

  • Legal disputes resolved in favor of the customer

  • Fraudulent misrepresentation by unauthorized sales agents (if proven)

Such cases will be reviewed individually and refunds, if granted, will be at the sole discretion of Belmonds Hotels.

3. Booking Cancellation for Reserved Holidays

  • Members may cancel or reschedule their booked holidays subject to availability and the club’s holiday calendar.

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more in advance may be eligible for re-credit of the usage week (subject to terms).

  • Cancellations made within 14 days or less may result in the usage week being marked as consumed.

  • No monetary refund is processed for booked or unused holidays; instead, members receive re-credits where applicable.

4. Refunds for Add-On Services

  • Payments made toward add-on services (such as flights, airport transfers, or optional excursions) may be eligible for refund based on the third-party vendor’s policy.

  • In such cases, Belmonds will process the refund once received from the respective service provider, which may take 7–21 working days.

5. Force Majeure

Belmonds shall not be held liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural calamities, strikes, travel bans, pandemic situations, or government orders.

  • In such cases, members may request rebooking or credit instead of refunds.

6. Special Offers and Non-Refundable Payments

  • Amounts paid for promotional events, limited-time deals, and trial packages are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in the offer.

  • These offers are designed to provide limited-access experiences and do not carry refund eligibility unless cancelled within the cooling-off window.

7. Refund Process Timeline

  • Approved refunds (if any) will be processed within 21 working days from the date of approval.

  • Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment only.
